BACKGROUND

Maynas Chua (Eric) begun his serial entrepreneur life because of a road less taken — to help solve the Climate Change problem and to extend the lifespan of humans. Prior to that, he was an award winning engineer engineer.

Eric writes about his lifestyle and owns several websites, some which are investments and business websites where he offers entrepreneurship advice to everyday people, online and offline.

Background

Born and raised in Singapore, a country in South East Asia whose population is made up of Chinese, Indians, Malays and Caucasians who live in good harmony, Eric is lucky to have the privilege of been exposed to people from different cultural backgrounds and all walks of life.

This exposure has helped greatly in knowing how to work well with people from different nationalities. Singaporeans as a whole, are known to be extremely hardworking people, diligent, friendly and trustworthy people.

Eric is also an Australian Permanent Resident. In recent years, he spends his time in between Singapore and Australia for work, studies and business ventures. He mainly resides in Brisbane (near Gold Coast), within the state of Queensland. He also appreciates the robust urban life in nearby cities like Sydney and Melbourne.

His international experiences has brought him opportunities to work and also meet with people from many countries such as United States, Canada, Hawaii, Chile, Peru, Argentina, England, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Greece, Turkey, Hungary, Romania, Norway, Wales. Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Italy, Kenya, South Africa, Russia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei, Fiji, New Zealand, Korea and Japan.

Eric enjoys meeting people from all over the world, listening to their life stories and adventures. It is through this exposure that he realizes truly that how much life has to offer and all it takes for us is to make that choice to make things happen. Eric has also understood the economies of supply and demand from his experiences, honing his art of doing business internationally as a result.

The Author

Eric Chua is a researcher, writer, poet and lyrics composer. He is the author of a published proposal for Solving Climate Change / Global Warming (Renewable Energy Focus) On the Change-This Website. It obtained the highest votes for that particular poll which it was involved. His academic articles and written reports (college) often top the whole standard of his course.

The Speaker

Eric Chua was a member of Toastmasters International, obtained 90+ percentage points for his thesis presentation and scored a perfect 9 out of 9 for IELTS for speaking. In polytechnic, he led two of his team mates to win the best speakers award for their project presentation. An occasional vocalist who once qualified for the finals of a singing competition and was a singer in a band for a short stint.

In Business

Eric Chua believes that, to make big significant changes which are required to solve Climate Change, the leverage of business is of paramount importance. Business is for making things happen.

He is a serial entrepreneur who moves from project to project. He grew up from a business-boy at the age of 9 to a business-teen then a businessman. He creates, he sells, he markets, he organizes teams to do it, he hires, he manages, he consults…it’s a supply and demand thing coupled with the idea of value humans place on them.

Couple this with the mind of a vivid researcher of ancient and modern military tactics such as “The Art of War” has been trained in the Army and Air Force for two long hard years, the result is an entrepreneur who can adapt these skills in the business battlefield and values the significance of victory.

…Some people seem to attract Success, Wealth and achieve great feats without much conscious effort while many others struggle to even barely survive the day to day ordeal, much less fulfil their dreams and ambitions.

I asked Maynas, “Why is that so?”

“It’s because of the difference” He replied. “The difference that makes the difference.”

“The difference of difference? What do you mean, Maynas?”

“That, my friend, is a good question.”

A New Twist of the Law of Attraction

Much has been said and taught about the Law of Attraction that like attracts like, the more you think of something, the more of it you get…to some extend, yes it seems to be true, but I don’t think many of us are willing to accept that as that. Thinking that you will be rich and successful all day long won’t make you rich and successful, so does thinking of walking on water…when this law of attraction was taught by so call gurus, did they really expect their students to believe that just because they think of something all day long, they will get it?

Thinking DOES NOT make you Walk on Water

Let’s trim the fats from the meat. Thinking and visualizing that you can walk on water doesn’t make you walk on water someday without some tricks up the sleeve conjured by a magician. Let’s probe further.

What about the next law, “The Law of Action”, which says that nothing will happen until you take action.

So, does THINKING all day long about having the ability to walk on water and taking ACTION to try walking on water …will it result finally that you will be able to walk on water?

No.

So how do the two laws work anyway? If they really work at all.

Fallibility of the Law of Attraction and The Law of Action

The Law of Attraction is perhaps nothing more than seeing what the mind wants to see.

Let’s compare it to the Internet, when you are thinking of finding out more about SUCCESS, you typed the keyword SUCCESS into the search engine and hit enter, and what results do you expect to see? Web-sites about SUCCESS, not exactly surprising.

Now, what if you searched for the word FAILURE? You will see search results about failure without a shadow of a doubt!

And how about the “Law of Action”? Yes, it works, you took action by searching for it on the Internet. Simple logic. Nothing happens if we do not take action. It’s not rocket science.

You would have seen the fallibility of how the Law of Attraction and Law of Action holds in the simple examples illustrated above.

Isn’t the Law of Attraction merely just finding what you wanted to search for? And the Law of Action just simply searching for it?

There is more than meets the eye.

Do not Follow Blindly

My friend, do not follow blindly the words of the people who teach these laws to you if they simply just wish to explain that the two laws worked for them and so it would work for you too. We must think for ourselves.

The Secret behind the Secret

We know that the Law of Attraction and the Law of Action DO WORK. Now, if they do work, how come not EVERYONE who already knew this secret haven’t succeeded yet?

SO many have NOT achieved the success they wanted even when they follow what the secret of the Law of Attraction told them to, visualize and think of it…

There is another secret behind this secret, the secret which makes it work…it will be very obvious once you learnt of it, but if no one told you about it, it might take you years to find out…

When a person dares to dream…
to work a path for his or her own despite of the challenges that stood up like a tall barrier when the mission was first undertaken…

fear of failure will be slowly taken away once he or she has reached the threshold whereby everything difficult falls into place…into something manageable…into something easier

many of you reading this will know…
I am sure you have experienced something like that in your life before…

One day, you stood up straight, gave a breather and said to yourself,

“It’s all worth it”

months of practise, work, testing, sleepless nights, self questioning, research, rinse and repeat routine of daily work…

a little light in the tunnel was found during these few weeks of absence from the world..*smile*

There was a little 7 day experiment I did about two months before, I wanted to see and test for myself what much work could a person do in a space of seven days…the results spoke for itself… a person could do…not much..really not much…

that was the key awaking point in my life…

if a person was to get good results, doing it alone is going to be too slow and tedious…as humans, it is hard to concentrate and keep our focus on things for too long without going for a breather….

but can a person do things alone?

Yes and No.

No because too much work is involved…even if we are hardworking, there are only that many hours a day for work to be done.

Yes, but it comes with a exception.
The one man army needs to have, the critical, Master Mind. This mentality alone could be written upon for pages and pages without end, thus the master concept of it here…the Master Mind is the ability to build systems, systems that can work WITH or WITHOUT your presence, the ability to know how to delegate is a skill of its own.

Have you ever tried delegation and automation? It’s a complete world of its own if you have tried it before. The phrase, “if you want it to be done well, do it yourself” is often true, but I have learnt that “there are things that are beyond the capability of one man alone”. They said “Rome wasn’t built in one day”, I’m not sure who said that, it’s good knowledge but I wish to build upon it, “Rome can be built in one day with enough people who know what they need to do and a blueprint which tells them exactly what to do.”

It may sound easy but it is not, it may sound simple…surprisingly, yes, it is simple once you finally worked out what you are doing with the knowledge you have.

Have you ever came across a piece of knowledge that you browse through and knew that it contained an important message in it but it seems that something is lacking from it? …

I have lived twenty over years of my life but seldom came across this phenomenon that came into effect so much…knowledge that can only be gained when you have understood the knowledge that precedes it.

An example of this phenomenon is that when a person can only read the book that he wanted to read after he have learnt the language, but after gaining the ability to read the one book he wanted to read, he suddenly realized that he can read many other books which he has not thought of previously. It only became available to him after he has learned to read.

Knowledge that builds upon knowledge.

I’m glad it happened to me within these few weeks…it was a calculated risk that is showing to be paying off now, handsomely.

If you happen to read this and you are an aspiring entrepreneur, researcher, artist or any other fields, do stick with your guts if you know that the results are worth it in the end. When you had a plan a few months back and you look at it now and realized how bad it was, that you now have the plan which can actually work, give yourself a pat on your back. The journey of success is a path which everything behind looks like a failure.

That is when you know that you are doing the right things.

If you are not getting results and you still haven’t found anything wrong with the plan you created a year back, something is wrong, better find out what it is. Life has a rule, something is always wrong, find it and fix it, but think instead, something can always be done better.

Random thoughts coming up here and the post might seemed a bit disjointed, I choose not to edit it to make it like a perfect post, the meaning is there and I know that the person who needs it or has gone through it will understand
